Finnish designer duo Harri Helorinne & Jarkko Kallio were given a brief to get inspired by Arabias strong tradition in ceramic pattern making and to make a fresh pattern suited for todays consumers. They found inspiration for Tuokio from Arabias strong expertise in ceramics and took advantage of the opportunity to learn from the best professionals in the field at the Arabia factory.
